biogas

Biomass energy is a renewable resource that can be achieved by the collection and processing of organic matter to produce energy and other renewable by products. This process can be used to produce various forms of energy including thermal and electrical energy and by products such biomassas enriched fertilizer. Modern approaches to Biomass energy have transformed centuries old processes into technologically advanced systems that can produce mass amounts of renewable energy for the demands of modern society.

Biomass energy production is a varied and specialized field and the application of creating this form of energy. Creating effective use of this energy depends on the industries available as resource for the materials to be used as well as the specific requirements of the end user. TEE can identify the specific needs of its clients and determine the proper approaches to achieve a sustainable and reliable form of Biogas production from local resources and utilize this energy within its facilities to produce both thermal (heating and cooling) and electrical energy.

Anaerobic Digestion for Biogas Production
Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a process whereby bacteria break down organic material in the absence of air, yielding biogas which contains methane. By products from the anaerobic digestion of biomass material created production of: 

  • Methane which can be burned for heat or electricity generation. 
  • Solid residue of the AD process can be used as fertilizer. 
  • The solid residue can, alternatively, be burned as a fuel.
biomass2The production of methane can be processed, stored and used as a fuel to power localized equipment such as back-up generators for electrical production, operate boilers for heating and cooling processes or also combined heat and power (co-generation) or even all three knows as tri-generation. These products can be readily available within a month of operation.
